Mahalaxmi Industries has manufactured watch components in Greater Noida since 2006. Almost everything on this page is made to a customer's own drawing and shipped under their brand — we supply OEM watch brands including Titan, Timex and KDDL, private-label buyers, and assemblers across India, with exports to the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Switzerland.
The eight lines below cover a complete watch from the movement outwards: the holder and spacer rings that locate the calibre, the dial and dial ring the buyer actually looks at, the case and top ring around them, the PC glass over the top, and the PU strap that holds it on the wrist.
Sourcing them from one supplier is the point. When five vendors each interpret a tolerance their own way, the stack-up argument lands on your assembly bench. When the whole set comes from one floor, fitment is our problem to solve before the parts ship — which is what our watch parts manufacturing service is built around.
Moulding runs on 25 machines in the 50-tonne class across a 450 sqm plant, at over 50 lakh pieces a month. The tool room is in the same building, so when a dimension drifts or a cosmetic defect appears, the correction takes days rather than the weeks it costs to ship a mould between two vendors.
Every figure below is a production number held across a run, not a best-case sample. Lead times are counted from sample approval on existing tooling; a new mould adds 3–8 weeks.
| Component | Key dimension | Materials | Tolerance | Minimum order | Lead time |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Watch Dial Rings | 28mm – 45mm | ABS, Polycarbonate, Nylon 6/6, POM | ±0.05mm | 500 pieces | 7–14 working days |
| Watch Cases | 30mm – 48mm | ABS, Polycarbonate, Stainless Steel (outsourced), Zinc Alloy | ±0.08mm | Quoted per drawing and volume | 10–21 working days |
| Watch Dials | 25mm – 42mm | Brass, Aluminium, ABS Composite | ±0.1mm | Quoted per artwork and volume | 10–18 working days |
| PC Watch Glass | 26mm – 46mm | Optical-grade Polycarbonate | — | Quoted per size and volume | 5–10 working days |
| PU Watch Straps | 14mm – 24mm | Polyurethane (PU), Stainless Steel Buckles | — | Quoted per design and volume | 7–14 working days |
| Watch Movement Holders | Per movement caliber | PA66 (Nylon), POM (Delrin), ABS | ±0.03mm | Quoted per caliber and volume | 5–10 working days |
| Watch Case Top Rings | 30mm – 48mm | ABS + Electroplating, Zinc Alloy + PVD, Stainless Steel | — | Quoted per finish and volume | 10–18 working days |
| Energy Guard | Snap-fit | ABS, Polycarbonate, POM | ±0.05mm | Quoted per specification and volume | 7–14 working days |
If you already know the grade, tell us. If not, describe the application — whether the part is visible through the crystal, whether it takes a snap-fit load, whether it must survive a drop — and we will recommend one.
Finishes available across these materials include polished, matte, textured, metallic-plated, chrome and gold PVD, with colour matched to a Pantone or RAL reference or to a physical sample. Printing up to four colours at ±0.1 mm registration runs through our pad printing section.
Four steps, and no production starts until you have signed off on a physical sample.
A 2D drawing, 3D CAD or a physical sample, with your material or application, finish, and both first-order and annual quantities. No drawing? We reverse-engineer from a sample.
Per-piece price at your volume, tooling shown separately if a new mould is needed, MOQ, lead time, and the assumptions behind the number — so you can correct them.
We build or select the mould in our own tool room, run a try-out and send a sample. You check fitment in your own assembly before anything goes to volume.
First-article and in-process inspection against the approved sample, then packing to your spec with batch records if you asked for them. Ex-works or door delivery, India or export.
Pricing, minimums, materials and lead times across all eight product lines.
Question not answered here? Send your drawing or a description and we will reply with a specific answer, not a brochure.
Ask a questionSend a drawing or a sample with your target quantity and we quote — usually within one working day. Once the price is agreed we produce a sample for approval, then run the batch. Payment terms and freight are agreed at the quote stage, including export documentation if you are outside India.
Start at the quote form, or read the checklist of what to send so the first reply is a real number rather than a list of questions.
We do not publish a fixed price list, because the per-piece cost of a moulded watch component depends on four things: the part geometry (which decides cavity count), the material grade, the finish and printing, and your annual volume. The same dial ring can differ by several times between a 2,000-a-year and a 200,000-a-year programme.
What we can promise is a fully broken-out quote — per-piece price at your volume, tooling separately, MOQ, lead time, and the assumptions behind the number — within one working day.
Watch dial rings have a firm MOQ of 500 pieces. Pad printing job work runs from 500 pieces per batch. Every other line — cases, dials, PC glass, PU straps, movement holders, top rings, energy guards — is quoted per drawing and volume rather than against a fixed minimum.
For a first order on a new programme we will normally accept a lower pilot quantity so you can validate fitment before committing to a full run.
We mould ABS, polycarbonate, Nylon 6/6, POM, PA66 and PU, plus optical-grade PC for watch glass. Finishes include polished, matte, textured, metallic-plated, chrome and gold PVD, with colour matched to a Pantone or RAL reference.
If you are not sure which grade you need, describe the application instead — whether the part is visible through the crystal, whether it takes a snap-fit load, whether it must survive a drop — and we will recommend one. Getting this right early is cheaper than re-tooling later.
±0.05 mm on critical features as standard. We tighten to ±0.03 mm on movement holders and spacer rings, where fitment is unforgiving, and work to ±0.08 mm on larger watch cases. Pad print registration holds to ±0.1 mm.
Mark only the dimensions that actually matter on your drawing. Applying a blanket tight tolerance across every feature raises the price without improving the part. Our quality process explains how these are verified.
From sample approval, on existing tooling: 7–14 working days for dial rings, straps and movement holders; 10–21 days for cases; 10–18 days for printed dials and bezels; 5–10 days for standard PC glass.
A new mould adds 3–8 weeks depending on cavity count; a mould repair or modification is usually 3–14 days. Tell us the date you need parts on your line and we will work backwards from it.
Yes, and we would rather you insisted on it. Every new part goes through a sample stage before production, so you can check fitment against your movement, case and crystal in your own assembly before committing to volume.
Samples from existing tooling are quick; samples from a new mould follow the tool try-out. Either way, production does not start until you have signed off on the sample.
Yes — that is the main reason customers consolidate with us. Sourcing the dial ring, case, dial, glass and strap from a single supplier removes the fitment arguments that happen when five vendors each work to their own interpretation of a tolerance.
It also collapses five sets of lead times, five QC standards and five sets of paperwork into one. Our watch parts manufacturing service covers the whole set.
