Overview

Watch Dials engineered for your assembly line

Material options

Brass Aluminium ABS Composite

We produce dial blanks and finished watch dials with custom printing, including indices, logo placement, and decorative elements. Our pad printing capability supports single and multi-colour printing with high registration accuracy. Dials are available in various base materials and can be finished with sunburst, guilloche-textured, or plain surfaces.

The dial is the face your customer looks at every day, so print registration, index alignment and surface finish have to be right on every piece. Mahalaxmi Industries is a custom watch dial manufacturer in Greater Noida, producing both stamped dial blanks and fully finished, pad-printed dials for OEM brands across India.

Our pad printing line handles single and multi-colour work — up to four colours per dial with ±0.1 mm registration — on brass, aluminium and ABS composite blanks from 25 mm to 42 mm. Surfaces can be finished sunburst, concentric, brushed or plain, with luminous indices and custom logo placement to your artwork.

Step by step

How Watch Dials are made at Mahalaxmi

  1. Artwork & blank spec

Your artwork, index layout and dial diameter are checked against the movement's hand and date-window positions.

  2. Stamping

Blanks are stamped from brass, aluminium or ABS composite at 0.3–1.2 mm thickness.

  3. Surface finishing

Sunburst, concentric, brushed or plain finishes applied before printing.

  4. Pad printing

Up to four colours printed with ±0.1 mm registration; luminous material applied where specified.

  5. Inspection

Each dial is checked for registration, colour and surface defects before packing.

Frequently asked

Watch Dials — buyer questions

Sizes, materials, tolerances, pricing and lead times buyers ask about before placing an order.

Ask a question

Can you print our logo and custom indices on the dial?

Yes. Our pad printing line handles up to 4 colours per dial with ±0.1 mm registration, covering logos, indices, sub-dial markings and decorative elements.

What base materials and finishes do you offer for dials?

Brass, aluminium and ABS composite blanks in 25–42 mm diameter, finished sunburst, concentric, brushed or plain. Luminous indices and markers are available.

Do you supply dial blanks as well as finished dials?

Both. We produce stamped dial blanks for brands that print in-house, and fully finished, printed dials ready for assembly.

What is the lead time for custom watch dials?

Typically 10–18 working days after artwork and sample approval, depending on the number of print colours and surface finish.

What is the price for custom printed watch dials?

Dial cost is driven by the blank (material, diameter, thickness), the number of print colours, the finish, and volume. A one-colour logo and a four-colour dial with indices are different jobs with different setup costs, not just different quantities.

Send the artwork with your enquiry and we will quote within one working day.

Can you match a Pantone colour or an existing dial sample?

Yes. We match to a Pantone or RAL reference, or against a physical sample you send. For cosmetically critical dials we run a colour check against the approved sample at the start of every batch, not just at first article.

A physical sample is more reliable than a screen reference — if you have one, post it.

What artwork format do you need for pad printing?

Vector artwork is best — AI, EPS, PDF or SVG with fonts outlined. We can work from high-resolution raster art, but fine indices and small text reproduce better from vector.

Registration holds to ±0.1 mm across up to four colours in one pass. Details on the pad printing service page.

Do you print on dials we supply, or only on your own?

Both. Pad printing job work on customer-supplied dials, bezels, cases and other parts runs from 500 pieces per batch with a 5–10 working day turnaround.

Most customers combine it with parts we already mould for them, which removes a shipping leg and a handling step.
